Email accounts, which are often called “POP accounts,” allow you to receive, store, and retrieve email messages. An email account for the administrative user was automatically set up for you when you ordered your hosting account. Our servers can support virtually an unlimited number of email accounts, which you can set up at any time using the Mail Administrator. Although you are initially limited to 5 or 50 POP accounts, you may purchase additional POP accounts by contacting our Technical Support team at support@networkdiversions.com To create a new email account on your mail server, log in to the control panel and select POP3 Accounts: Then, follow the steps below:
If any errors appear in the Result window, you will need to go back and check your information. If everything was entered correctly, the following message appears:
IMPORTANT NOTE: When your mail server receives new email, aliases always take precedence over email accounts. Therefore, if you have an alias and an email account on your server with the exact same name, mail will be sent to the address defined by the alias rather than the email account. |
